Fischer Söhne AG at Pharmapack Europe 2025: Key Takeaways from the Industry’s Premier Event

Muri, 11 February 2025 – From January 22-23, 2025, Fischer Söhne AG participated in Pharmapack Europe – by CPHI, the premier event for pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery solutions. With over 5,700 attendees, 364 exhibiting companies, and 70+ expert-led sessions, this gathering in Paris proved to be the must-attend event of the year for the industry.

A Gathering of Industry Leaders

Throughout the event, it became clear that Pharmapack is the ultimate meeting point for key decision-makers. Everyone was there—from major pharmaceutical manufacturers to top industry experts and business leaders. It was the rare opportunity to connect with people who are otherwise difficult to meet, facilitating valuable discussions and new partnerships.

Fischer Söhne AG & MEDIPACK AG: Showcasing Innovation

Daniel Seitz and Dieter Doell at Pharmapack

Representing Fischer Söhne AG were Dieter Doell and Daniel Seitz, alongside Felix Neidhart from our partner MEDIPACK AG. With a packed schedule and an early morning setup at 7 AM before the 9 AM opening, the event started with energy and anticipation. A highlight at our stand was the MEDIPACK machine, which attracted significant interest from visitors looking for cutting-edge pharmaceutical packaging solutions.

The Reality Behind Sustainability in Pharma

Interestingly, while sustainability was the official theme of the event, it was hardly a focal point in real conversations. Despite the external pressure to adopt sustainable practices, industry professionals remain cautious. The primary concern? Safety. Whether in materials, production processes, or regulatory compliance, safety remains the top priority in pharmaceutical packaging—far outweighing the industry’s appetite for change.

That said, at Fischer Söhne AG, sustainability is a key pillar of our innovation strategy. We are committed to pioneering solutions that balance safety with environmentally responsible practices, ensuring that the future of pharma packaging is both secure and sustainable.

Looking Ahead

Pharmapack 2025 reaffirmed its role as a hub for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and market insights. As we move forward, Fischer Söhne AG remains dedicated to advancing pharmaceutical packaging through innovation, reliability, and a commitment to sustainability.

We look forward to building on the connections made in Paris and shaping the future of drug delivery together. See you at Pharmapack 2026!
