Innovative Pre-Filled Syringes & Injection Devices Conference 2026: focused exchange in Berlin
Berlin, Germany — On 11–12 June 2026, Fischer Söhne AG took part in the 4th Annual Innovative Pre-Filled Syringes & Injection Devices Conference. The event brought together experts from pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and the broader injectable drug delivery community for two days of presentations, discussions, and practical exchange.

Representing Fischer Söhne AG on site were Herbert Kaminski, CSO, and Philip Nehr.
A focused setting for meaningful conversations

Unlike large trade fairs, this conference offered a compact and highly focused environment. That made it possible to engage directly with professionals working on pre-filled syringes, injection devices, primary packaging, combination products, and related development challenges.

For Fischer Söhne AG, the event was a valuable opportunity to present our Tub & Nest solutions for pre-filled syringes and to connect with attendees who are actively involved in shaping the future of injectable drug delivery.
Our brochures were distributed to all conference participants, giving every attendee the opportunity to learn more about Fischer Söhne AG, our expertise in life-science packaging, and our approach to reliable, integration-ready Tub & Nest systems.
Sustainability remains a central topic

A key moment for Fischer Söhne AG was Herbert Kaminski’s short presentation, where he highlighted a topic that continues to play an important role across the life-science industry: sustainability.

The discussion around sustainability in pharmaceutical packaging is complex. Packaging for regulated applications must meet strict requirements for quality, safety, cleanliness, handling, and process reliability. At the same time, the industry is increasingly looking for practical ways to reduce environmental impact, evaluate materials more carefully, and develop circular approaches where feasible.
This is an area Fischer Söhne AG continues to work on. Our focus remains on realistic, technically sound solutions that contribute to more sustainable packaging concepts without compromising the requirements of life-science and pharmaceutical applications.

Our Tub & Nest systems are designed to support efficient handling of pre-filled syringes in demanding pharmaceutical environments. For customers, the key questions are often very practical:
How can packaging support line integration?
How can components be protected during handling and transport?
How can processes remain reliable and scalable?
And how can sustainability be addressed in a way that fits regulated workflows?
These were exactly the kinds of conversations that made the Berlin conference valuable for our team.
Our takeaway

The conference confirmed once again that the pre-filled syringe and injection device market continues to evolve quickly. Innovation, regulatory expectations, patient-centric design, digital integration, and sustainability are all shaping the next generation of injectable drug delivery systems.
For Fischer Söhne AG, Berlin was a good platform to listen, contribute, and strengthen visibility within a highly specialized audience. We return with valuable impulses and look forward to continuing the conversations started during the event.
Let’s continue the conversation
