Muri, 11 September 2025 – Fischer Söhne AG was proud to once again take part in the Swiss Medtech Expo in Lucerne, the leading trade fair for medical technology in Switzerland. With around 200 exhibitors from Switzerland and abroad, the event has established itself as the central meeting point for innovation, networking, and industry dialogue in the medtech sector.

This year’s expo was marked by a strong visitor presence, and thanks to our prominent stand location right at the entrance, we had the pleasure of welcoming a large number of guests. The atmosphere was vibrant, and it quickly became clear that the Swiss Medtech Expo remains a must-attend event for all stakeholders in the industry.

Key Themes and Insights

One of the dominant themes across the exhibition floor, presentations, and symposium sessions was Artificial Intelligence (AI). Many exhibitors showcased AI-driven innovations and digitalization concepts, offering new perspectives on how technology can shape the future of medical technology. In the conference program, the discussions around AI were complemented by another central topic: sustainability in the medtech industry. The focus on environmentally responsible solutions reflected a growing awareness that the future of healthcare must be both innovative and sustainable.

• And of course, representatives of the who’s who of the Swiss medtech industry, highlighting once again the importance of this event as a networking hub.

While no major new deals were signed on the spot, the numerous conversations provided us with valuable input and opened doors for future collaborations. For us, success at a trade fair is not measured solely by immediate transactions but by the long-term relationships and insights that arise from these interactions.

A Successful Trade Fair Experience

Day one of the expo ended with a pleasant highlight: a Wine & Cheese Apéro that provided the perfect setting to continue discussions in a relaxed atmosphere. And throughout the event, one small detail drew plenty of attention: our syringe-shaped pens, which were cleverly presented in one of our standard tub & nest systems. This little “eye-catcher” not only sparked smiles but also perfectly illustrated how our packaging solutions are part of everyday medtech applications.
