One Team, Two Specialists: How Fischer Söhne AG and Fischer Söhne Extrusion AG Work Together
Muri, 13 April 2026 — Fischer Söhne’s strength lies in combining two complementary manufacturing worlds under one umbrella: high-precision injection molding (Fischer Söhne AG) and extrusion blow molding for hollow packaging (Fischer Söhne Extrusion AG). Both companies operate from Muri, work closely side by side, and coordinate engineering, production, and delivery to provide customers with a seamless “one-stop” experience.
Two companies, clear focus — one customer interface
Fischer Söhne AG focuses on life-science and healthcare solutions, including cleanroom production and injection-molded components. In our ISO 7 / GMP Class C environment, we manufacture packaging such as tubs & nests for medical syringes and related applications.
Fischer Söhne Extrusion AG specializes in extrusion blow molded packaging—from standard canisters (1–60 liters) to custom designs, produced in mono- or multi-layer co-extrusion processes.
The benefit for customers: clear specialization on the production side, while collaboration behind the scenes keeps projects efficient and coordinated.
“Everything from one source” — shown in a real example

A good illustration is our laboratory canister solution for diagnostic devices. In applications like diagnostics, customers often need more than a container: they need a complete, ready-to-use assembly that fits their device, reduces internal handling steps, and arrives reliably.
This is where the cooperation becomes tangible:
- Extrusion blow molding provides the hollow canister body, optimized for handling and integration.
- Injection molding contributes functional parts, interfaces, or components that are required for the final application.
- In-house assembly and finishing bring it together into a consistent, quality-controlled solution that helps customers save time and reduce coordination effort.
Shared foundations: quality, scalability, and sustainability
Both companies share the same mindset: robust processes, reliable delivery, and practical innovation.

On the sustainability side, Fischer Söhne Extrusion AG has introduced a PCR canister made from 100% in-house recycled rHDPE, created from internal production residues that are collected, re-ground, and processed into regranulate directly at the facility. This is a concrete example of how circular approaches can be implemented without adding complexity to the supply chain.
Why this setup matters for customers
Many packaging projects fail not because of the material or the part design, but because interfaces between suppliers, processes, and responsibilities create friction. The collaboration between Fischer Söhne AG and Fischer Söhne Extrusion AG reduces those interfaces and enables:
- faster coordination between packaging body, functional parts, and assembly
- fewer handovers in development and industrialization
- scalable production with the right technology for each requirement
