Setter / Application Technician in Plastics Engineering – 100% (m/f/d)

We are looking to fill the following position immediately or by agreement:

Your Responsibilities

  • Independent setup, start-up and optimization of injection moulding machines and associated peripheral equipment
  • Execution of sampling, trials and series start-ups in close cooperation with development, quality and toolmaking
  • Documentation of samples, process data, test results and approvals in accordance with internal guidelines
  • Analysis and optimization of process parameters to ensure highest product quality and process stability
  • Troubleshooting and fault correction on machines, tools and automation systems
  • Supporting production with technical questions and process approvals
  • Training and instruction of machine operators regarding process understanding and quality assurance
  • Participation in improvement projects (e.g. CIP, Lean, efficiency enhancement, automation)
  • Close cooperation with toolmaking for maintenance and optimization of injection moulding tools

Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training as Process Mechanic for Plastics and Rubber Technology, Plastics Technologist specializing in Injection Moulding, or a comparable technical qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in setting up, optimizing and sampling injection moulding machines
  • Sound knowledge of tooling and process technology; ideally experienced with automated production cells
  • GMP and cleanroom experience is an advantage
  • Confident handling of quality inspections, test plans and documentation systems
  • Technical understanding, analytical thinking and solution-oriented working style
  • Willingness to work shifts
  • Good command of written and spoken German, English skills are an advantage
  • Independence, sense of responsibility and enjoyment of precise, quality-oriented work
