Apprenticeship: Polymechanic (EFZ)

As a future polymechanic, you will learn to manufacture individual mechanical components according to design drawings and assemble complex systems. You will be involved in the development, production, and assembly of tools and fixtures. During your training, you will acquire solid skills in programming and operating CNC machines.

The Training

• 4-year apprenticeshipQualification as Polymechanic EFZ
• Vocational school in Lenzburg, 1–2 days per week depending on profile and semester
• Inter-company course in Lenzburg (Swissmechanic)
• Flexible working hours: start between 06:00 and 08:30, finish from 16:00 (by arrangement with the instructor)

The Requirements

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• Interest in metalworking
• Manual dexterity
• Good comprehension and visualization skills
• Strong performance in mathematics
• Secondary school report cards
• Multi- and Basic-Check
