Apprenticeship: Plastics Technologist (EFZ)

As a plastics technologist, you will manufacture precise plastic parts, working with modern injection molding and extrusion blow molding machines. You will monitor the entire production process, perform continuous quality checks, and document the results. You will also learn to set up and reconfigure our machines and automation systems, along with their maintenance and upkeep.

The Training

• 4-year apprenticeshipQualification as a Plastics Technologist EFZ
• Vocational school in Aarau, 1–2 days per week
• Inter-company courses in Aarau
• Flexible working hours: start between 06:00 and 08:30, finish from 16:00 (by arrangement with the instructor)

The Requirements

• Secondary school or strong lower secondary school diploma
• Manual dexterity
• Technical understanding and logical thinking
• Spatial awareness
• Enjoyment of mathematics and geometry
• Precise and careful work habits
